Spray guns and the choices are many. This is one product that could be of use to a woodworker. Great spray gun for some of my applications. It is inexpensive around $ 35 and you can use most shop air compressors (Mine is a $ 100 HD) your spray container is a Mason jar, which can be purchased at the grocery store. http://www.amazon.com/Critter-Spray-Products-22032-Siphon/dp/B00006FRPJ which has all the specs and customer reviews. My uses for this particular model is for latex, shellac and boiled linseed oil; you will have to thin you product.
I found this on You Tube: a gal demonstrating the sprayer https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZBFoWZsDSns
